Biography
"Being occupied with art, but much more making paintings or ceramic objects myself is something that challenges me. The determination of the subject, the search of the correct materials and the colours I want to use,how I want the piece to look, these matters challenge me and expand my horizon. To achieve the ultimate end result in a work or a series of works I continuesly want to overstep boundaries and aim towards perfection and renewal. To give each piece of art its own identity and my personal working signature are values and standards that I value the most. Following a new study in a different creative discipline has lead to more synergy towards my paintings, especially because of the new knowledge but even more because of the cohesive approach of my new work".
Emerentia van Vroenhoven is born in 1959 in Best, a little village in the area of Eindhoven, in the provence of Noord Brabant where she lived most of her life.
Since 2014 She is living and working in Heusdenhout - Breda.
Drawing and painting always have been part of who she is, but as with many of young men and woman her parents persuaded her to got towards a different schooling and carrier.
She has an MBA in Strategic Supply Chain Management at the Rijks University of Gent - Belgium and in her last stage of her professional carrier she was the responsible Business Operations Manager of several manufacturing sites at the same time.
in 1991 she takes her first steps towards professional art and during the next 25 years she follows several educations on the Art Academy and several masterclasses with well known proffesionals. She is certified to give classes and workshops.
In 2009 she stopped her carrier as Division Manager of Operations to follow her passion - Art, and making art. She finds in new challange in going back to the art academy where in 2019 she passed the exams in the specialism ceramic scupltures.
"The new adventure can begin. I have more time available now and only see new chalanges. I cant wait to start with my new designs for paintings and ceramic sculptures.
